Ciao bella,

Who watched out best for you and loved you the most? Mom. So for her special day do something for her extraordinarily fun.

Take her on a shopping spree to her fav mall or boutique and buy matching dresses or a matching outfit. My mom and I did that a couple of times and we loved it.

Have a glamour shot of her photographed from one of those specialty photo shops in your area. A treasured picture is a treasured memory. Do it with her and the memory lives on.

If mom lives far, send her to LUSH heaven with the Limited Mother's Day Gift Edition. It includes the gorgeous new almond-scented Smitten Hand Cream, the Ma Bar for a chocolate-scented bubble bath, Dream Cream that will scent and smooth her skin marvelously, along with other delightful products.

The products are already boxed and wrapped in beautiful pink embroidered paper with bow. It will show her how much she's adored.

For a pampering treat, take her to a spa. From a massage to facial treatments you can both feel like princess and queen. On one of my recent trips to New York City, I discovered a gem of a spa --SoHo Sanctuary. Their treatments included herbal body scrubs, detoxifying mud wraps, and little extras like sage footbaths, holistic body oils, and eucalyptus steam baths to help eliminate the rest of the stress. If you can't go to New York, find one in your area that offers similar services.

If time and budget are accommodating, indulge in personalized manicures. Just call me for a private appointment and you can both experience the advantages of natural nailcare. My Andover salon and Boston home numbers are below.

So I hope I've helped with some unique ideas for you to show mom how special she is on her special day.

Buona giornata.
